The Youkai of Darkness: Rumia, the stage 1 boss of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
I tried thinner lines on this one. Making smooth thin lines is a challenge for me, so I tend to use thicker lines to disguise the shakiness and get a smoother result. So here's me trying to get away from that. I also tried combining cel shading with soft shading. I think next time I might try smudging parts of the cel shading and see how that goes.
Anywho. Rumia's adorable. She isn't too bright (puns!), but she tries her best to be the best youkai she can be and attack humans. I mean, she was dumb to try her luck on a shrine maiden and a magician, but she did her best!
